Last year’s Hour of Code activity was a real hit and not only for computer geeks! We heard from numerous people how fun it was. Bear in mind the vocabulary and directions might be difficult for some English language learners.
This year, however, there is an extensive lesson plan, that, if adapted, might be appropriate for English language learners. If you like to pair up students to work on imperatives and giving and receiving simple instructions, you might want to give it a try. There are suggestions for adapting it to grade levels but it looks possible to adapt it to language level. If you do, let us know!
